Reiki for Pregnancy and Birth

I've always been interested in energy healing modalities, and in 2011 I trained in Charka Balancing on the shores of Goa in India. Various trainings and explorations followed and as my passion turned towards all things birth, in 2024 I trained in Reiki for Pregnancy and Birth. This was an intense course that taught me a lot about the specific energy movements and points to focus on during pregnancy and birth. Reiki can be used as a source of relaxation, to ease anxieties about birth. It has also been used in specific instances such as to turn a breech baby (see https://www.reikiforbirth.com/ for more). Doula clients get access to free Reiki sessions and Reiki during birth if agreed before hand. Non-doula clients can book a one hour session in your own home for £30, or in a studio for £40.
